BIM Management & Coordination
Brains Digital designed and implemented a strategy aimed at allowing for the real-time access to information regarding the entire design and construction process via the cloud platform Bimpool, supporting the analysis of alternative scenarios thanks to the elaboration of 4 and 5D simulations based on highly detailed models geometric- and information-wise. The pilot project consisted of a floor within the building of about 2,000 sqm.
The office building Ferrucci, located in the Turin Porta Susa train station area and very close to Turin Polytechnic campus, was born from the redevelopment of Fiat Engineering Headquarters and obtained the GOOD evaluation on the basis of the Itaca Protocol for environmental and energy sustainability in buildings.
